General Secretary Obaidul Quader handed letter to the final candidates in the political office of Awami League president Dhanmondi in the capital on Friday (07 December).

Shahidul Islam Bakul (Natore-1), BM Kabirul Haque (Narail-1), Dhirendra Debnath Shambhu (Barguna-1), A S S Firoz (Patuakhali-2), Tanvir Hasan alias Chota Monir (Tangail-2) and Abul Kalam Ajad (Jamalpur-1).
Initially, the Awami League gave two candidates in these seats. Road traffic and construction minister Obaidul Quader said that the Jatiya Party's Jatiya Party (JNN) has three, Jassaq (Inu), Bangladesh Jasad (Ambia), Tariqat federation two, United Front (alternative) three, Jatiya Party JP has been given two seats.
